Rental Terms

Reservations

  • Please provide a minimum of 3 weeks advance notice for all decor rental requests (contracts must be signed with paid security deposits before this timeframe).
  • Please provide a minimum of 6 weeks advance notice for custom decor rentals or services (contracts must be signed with paid security deposits before this timeframe).
  • A surcharge fee may apply to fulfill decor rental requests made less than 2 weeks from the event date.
  • Changes made to reservations within 14 days of a contracted event will result in a $200 rush fee to procure materials not already on hand during the week of the event, or will result in a loss of the security deposit if the amount falls within the total security deposit.
  • No changes are allowed on the day of the event, and refunds will not be provided for last-minute change requests or cancellations.

Security Deposit

  • Security deposits are required in addition to the rental total. Security deposits secure your reservation date and time and cover potential incidentals that may arise while utilizing rentals.
  • A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The amount is based on the total rental value.
  • Deposits are refunded within 3 business days of item return, inspection, and confirmation of cleanliness and no damage.
  • For client pickups, a flat 20% security deposit is required.

Item Care & Return

  • All rental items must be returned clean, dry, and in the same condition they were received.
  • Items that cannot be washed or cleaned to return to their initial state will be subject to the damage fees outlined in “Exhibit B” of the contract.
  • Items must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time.
  • Late returns are subject to a lateness fee.
  • Items not returned within 3 days of the return date will forfeit the full security deposit and will be reported as stolen.

Damage, Loss & Replacement

  • Fees for damaged, unclean, or missing items will be deducted from the security deposit.
  • If damages exceed the deposit amount, the client will be invoiced for the difference.
  • Replacement fees are outlined in our fee schedule.

Delivery Options

  • Delivery is free within 20 miles of the 21090 zip code for orders that fit into one standard SUV.
  • Large orders within 20 miles or 21090 will incur a $100 round-trip fee if the items exceed the capacity of one SUV.
  • Deliveries that fit into one SUV and are over 20 miles and up to 50 miles away from 21090 will incur a $125 roundtrip fee.
  • Larger orders (exceeding one SUV) over 20 and up to 50 miles from 21090 will incur a $200 round-trip delivery fee.

Rental Pickups

  • Clients who opt to pick up rentals must provide a 20% security deposit.
  • Late fees apply if rentals are not returned on time.
  • Rentals not returned within 3 days will be considered non-returned property.

Payment Terms

  • All rental payments are nonrefundable.
  • Full rental payment is due at least 2 weeks before your scheduled pickup or delivery.
  • Payments can be made via Zelle or PayPal.
  • Receipts will be provided within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

Changes, Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Client-initiated changes made 8-14 days before the event date will incur a $200 rush fee.
  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before a planned event will result in a full refund of your security deposit.
  • Cancellations made 8 – 13 days before an event will forfeit 50% of the total security deposit.
  • Cancellations made within one week of the event, including same-day cancellations, will result in a 100% loss of the security deposit.
  • Rentals may be rescheduled one-time based on item availability and must be requested at least 10 days before the original event date if rescheduling is needed.
  • Rescheduling requests made less than 10 days before an event will forfeit 50% of your original security deposit and will be subject to availability.
  • Rescheduled rental security deposits become non-refundable if the event is canceled/rescheduled a second time.

Force Majeure

  • Lush Details is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, transportation disruptions, or other events beyond our control.

Media Use

  • We may use photos or videos of your rented items for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.

Liability Waiver

  • Lush Details is not liable for any injuries or damages that occur while using our rentals.
  • Clients are responsible for the proper handling and use of all rented items.
  • Clients agree to indemnify and hold Lush Details harmless from any claims related to rental use.
